Don’t be an Eeyore

Who is the fictional character you relate to the most?

My husband has a cousin who’s an Eeyore. He just is and, apparently, always was.

I really don’t want be an Eeyore, but it’s hard not to be, if you read any news at all.

Today I hope to snap out of Eeyore.

I think (and hope) I’m more of a Kanga, in need of a quick visit from Tigger to perk up.

Happy Friday.

  1. We all love Eeyore, so it seems he has an important place in our psyches and villages. One must imagine Eeyore happy?

I do think SNL’s Debbie Downer skit helped keep me from becoming her in recent years. She’s there as a kind of guardrail. 🙂 Hugs and feel better. ❤

  2. I’ve completely forgotten about Kanga!

I was visiting New York recently. My first time not on business so I was the total tourist. I went to the NY library and learned the Winnie the Pooh story was based off a real little boy and his stuffed animals. There wasn’t much of an exhibit, but they did have the original stuffed animals. That was interesting and fun!

    1. Oh cool! I tried to go to the NYPL last time I was there, but they closed it for snow that day. I saw the outside though, with those big lions.
How big is original Pooh Bear?? 🐻
