Oh funny, I didn’t even think of that. It was just a regular (very old) upright Beech tree. Its bowed branches formed a full-size magical playroom around the trunk. My son was in there forever, then finally popped out from up high.
Oh, that’s much safer! Must have hurricanes on my mind, because it reminded me of photos I’ve seen of kids playing around fallen trees (not that that’s very safe!).
