Ageist

I must be ageist because I’m definitely not going to vote for our incumbent Democratic Senator Ed Markey in the upcoming primary. He’s too damn old. He was born in 1946 (the same year as Dear Leader). Senator Markey would be 80 years old when his new term starts (and senators get six-year terms).

I do not understand how Old Ed is leading in the polls by double digits against 47-year old Seth Moulton—a sitting US congressman and veteran with no major flaws (that I know of). I think maybe Moulton once said something that was construed to be mildly less than 100% supportive of the trans community? Definitely not a good enough reason to elect someone who will be 86(!) at the end of his next term.

Why do you think some old men never retire? Is it strictly a power trip? Why won’t they move over and become gracious advisors to the next generation?
