What’s a promise you made to yourself that you’ve actually kept?
When this latest poorly-managed public health crisis started, I promised myself I’d patronize our local farmstands more.
Yesterday, we went to two of them and bought lettuce, cucumber, broccoli, and berries.

That looks yummy 😋. Coming from a rural area I was brought up by my parents to eat “ whatever is in season” which translates to whatever my Dad had ready in the garden from vegetables to fruit.
I grow a few bits n pieces myself, strawberries being one of them

That’s fantastic! We have flowers, but no fruits or vegetables. We need to start at least some tomatoes next year.
