Hoping for the best

A lawless President decided to topple the government of another country of 92 million without authorization from Congress or buy-in from the American people while he was sitting in his beach house in Florida.

Is it all just a distraction from the Epstein files? Maybe. Is the outcome going to involve massive cash windfall to Trump family businesses? Probably.

But what else can we do now but hope for the best? May U.S. military casualties be minimal and a new, free Iran miraculously emerge.

  1. Republican politicians need to fear the majority of people, even their constituents more, than they fear Trump. These politicians in congress are his power base. Its the only way and very few people understand this dynamic because their eyes are fixed on the fool king.

  2. It just keeps going from bad to worse, doesn’t it? From what I have read, the Iranian regime is terrible, but so is taking out heads of states when they are no direct threat to our country. Trumps lawlessness is unleashing so much chaos and misery. Who knows where this will end?

    1. Yup. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. The only thing that will save us from Trump now is red state/district voters. They need to toss out his enablers! I’m remembering the “don’t blame me, I’m from Massachusetts” bumper sticker from when I was a kid. We were the only state to go for McGovern over Nixon in ‘72.
