Beach walk

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

I like to swim in the ocean, whenever I can. I also like to walk on the beach.

    1. Thanks Laurie. No, it’s about 90 minutes away, but a very close friend has a home here. I’m lucky to be able to visit a lot. My closest beach is Salisbury State Park in MA.

    1. Nobody seems to know when the ocean took this structure, but the ruins have been there for as long as anyone alive can remember. As my husband said, “nature wins” – I think that’s the significance. It’s a dramatic reminder!

  1. The beach ruins are really interesting. Are there many? I’m assuming these were residences that have fallen to nature. Sad, when you think about losing your home. But I think I’d go back often because it sounds so unique. It’s part of the local history, too.

    1. Yes, it’s a fairly big cluster of brick and cement remains. It’s hard to tell if it was one large structure or several. The stairs are the showstopper. So dramatic!
