My husband very kindly ordered and planted a bunch of dahlia bulbs to fill in a dead area in our front garden.
Unfortunately, the deer kept eating them and only a single one bloomed.
It’s such a great color though—the one bloom.

Fuschia?
Raspberry?
Magenta?
What would you call it?

I would call it Beautiful. The sight of a deer, which I have never seen in my garden, would be a pleasing sight too!

Swoon!
It’s more than fuchsia, because there’s a glow and brightness to it, which makes it not as purple. I’m not sure what to call it, but I talked a woman into glasses this color just yesterday. 🙂

You’re right. I was stunned by the brightness of it at sunset. Excellent sale – muschia glasses will improve her life I’m sure!

It’s funny, but I think it will. She was drawn to very toned down glasses, like the ones she was wearing when she came in, but a very glamorous woman with similar features and coloring to hers had opened my eyes to these. They opened her whole face. 🙂 I felt a little ‘fairy godmother’.

Fuschia, but I am not always good with colors. At least the deer left you a pretty one.

I wish we had deer in our yards (I naively say)

Haha, they do look beautiful, but they’re always hungry. My 🌺s are not your breakfast 🦌!

Lol! My sister has peacocks in her yard. They eat her roses and poop everywhere. Recently, she’s noticed a bunch of well fed coyotes in the neighborhood…

Peacocks! So exotic! But no doubt annoying when they eat her 🌹. Flowers First!

It’s a little odd. I see them wandering the streets sometimes. They can be quite beautiful, but my sister only sees her rose bushes suffering so she over it.

I’m totally with her…critters eating my flowers need to go back into the woods! Shoo!
