I continue to try to take photos of the moon with my iPhone 15 and it never works well.
I could clearly see the partial lunar eclipse with my eyes last night, but the photos don’t show it. (Well, maybe a tiny bit in the second one, but you have to zoom in.)
I’m always impressed with the great moon shots that Kevin at The Beginning at Last is able to get with his phone.

Welcome to the club. I also gave up taking moon shots, because of one failure after the next. Your shoots are not that bad. Yeah, Kevin is on leave now.

Oh good, I’m glad it’s not just me! The moon is such a wonder. Maybe the bad pics are a way of telling me to just enjoy it in the moment. Thanks for the update on Kevin. I hope he’s back soon!

Same. My shots with iphone are terrible, so much so that it feels silly to keep trying, but I do! These are NOT BAD! 😀

OK, it’s good to know there are a lot of us wanna-be-moon-photogs. It’s just so cool…we can’t stop trying. And thank you, but I’m not too happy with them. 😝

I’m not sure how others capture such big clear images on their phones, but for phone photos, this is good. The one I have on my phone from a few days ago is truly awful. 🙂
