Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
My life without a computer looks like a vacation. I can go a full week without my laptop. I can do almost everything I need to do (including responding to this prompt) on my phone – except work. And I can even do some work on my phone, including e-mail & calendar, accessing our CRM system, and Workday (our HR system). There’s an app for just about everything now.
However, my life without a phone would be very different.
And by “phone,” I mean a tiny powerful smartphone that reportedly could be used to guide more than 120 million Apollo-era spacecraft to the moon — all at the same time.
Remember Apollo-era phones?
50 Happens 
I felt this. I don’t think I’ve opened my laptop for a month. I really don’t put my phone down. It’s my gateway to everything.

I kind of miss rotary phones. The whole thing about dialing without buttons. We used to stretch that phone cord out a bit. Everybody had to wait their turn to use the phone. How times have changed!

The cord was key! You wanted to stretch it to someplace somewhat private when talking with friends. But those old phones caused so many fights between siblings, especially sisters!

It is interesting, I have noticed people distinguish their cell phones from laptops and desktops, but really they are also computers, just pocket size.
