What a poignant poem. I remember a sermon once about the difference between hopes and wishes. although i use the word hope as she did here, wish is probably a more accurate word. definition of hope is “to wish for a particular event that one considers possible.” not to be pedantic, i just wonder if the author considers those things possible under 47.

I absolutely do not consider these things possible under 47, but I think his supporters do. It’s not pedantic at all lol I “hope” what they hope, so to speak. I kinda sense what’s really about to happen.
