The Democratic National Convention is SO good. Oh my god…what a difference from the RNC.

From Republican Stephanie Grisham, to the roll call, to the Obamas (especially Michelle), it was all so inspiring last night.

      1. Best speech I’ve heard in forever, just the energy of it. Got a call from oldest daughter who described what it’s like from a ‘young online culture first’ kind of view and loved hearing her enthusiasm.

      4. The roll call was SO good, I just rewatched some of it. The soundtrack was awesome…and all those artists gave permission for their songs to be used, unlike the lame-o RNC music

      5. DNC did their due diligence at least! I’ve been incredibly impressed by the production values, but also there’s obviously been a lot of energy pent up, people wanting to express a positive vision and make a strong contrast.

      1. Yes, Trump makes us feel small. Yay for all that’s happened with the Democratic party over the past month. I can scarcely believe. We were at the film festival when we learned that Biden would not be running for a second time. Since then, events have galloped. Anyway, tonight and tomorrow I will be watching the convention. Phew! History in the making, that’s for sure. I have a could feeling about Kamala and Tim even though I know the outcome is far from certain.

      2. We gotta run through the tape at the finish line this time…I don’t think anyone is taking it for granted. (I was swimming in the ocean, when my husband called out from the beach “Biden is dropping out.” I’ll never forget that!)

  4. The entire (and all-too brief) Harris campaign has been an Adrenaline shot to the Democratic Party!

    It’s as if this Kamala Harris has been sitting in the box on the wall labeled “in case of fire, break glass”.

    This has been an awesome ride and we need to keep our collective feet on the pedal until Election Day!
